WELCOME MESSAGE

It is an honor and it gives me a great pleasure to welcome you all to the Saudi Trauma Conference 2019.
The three-day event will be held at the Four Seasons Hotel, Kingdom Center, Riyadh, KSA commencing February 26th, 2019.
The Saudi Trauma Conference 2019 is the first of its kind to host such a multidisciplinary gathering of those involved in caring for the severely injured. I therefore strongly encourage our present and future health and education professionals - Physicians, Paramedics, Nurses and Allied Health - to join an expected 1,500 attendees to enrich their knowledge of Trauma Care.
Our Scientific Committee has produced a broad spectrum program that covers current and topical issues in Trauma Care and Trauma Systems.
We welcome all health professionals from around the global to explore, share and be inspired by innovative workshops, plenary sessions, poster presentations and panel discussions delivered by local and international keynote speakers.
Our conference concurs with the announcement of our nation’s 2030 Vision, where the health of everyone residing in the land is considered a major focus and concern. This vision is reflected in our theme for this year “Building the Saudi Arabian Trauma System: Integrated Trauma Systems Save Lives”. The conference is themed to shine a light on all of the hard and exciting work developing a Level 1 Trauma Center at King Saud Medical City. We will also explore how King Saud Medical City, along with the other governmental and private sector efforts, can be brought together to effect real change in the outcome of the severely injured. We are sure that your contributions at the event will serve this ambitious vision.
We are sure you will enjoy your stay in beautiful Riyadh and look forward to seeing you at the Saudi Trauma Conference 2019 in February for what promises to be a memorable event!
